Fire Alarm Panel
These are micro controller based master control and display panels. Their function is to communicate with Addressable Input and Output modules connected to it via a 2 wire RS485 Bus. the CD-32 communicates with max 32 zone modules.
This series of fire alarm panels make optimum use of the Addressable features to reduce cable cost This panel is available with LED Fire & Fault annunciators for 16 or 32 zones.
Features
- The Main Panel has all the necessary indications required to identify the source of the fire and take action. It also provides accurate monitoring of all modules connected to it.
- It consists of a cabinet with a power supply, battery charger and space for batteries.
Loop wiring
The panel is connected to Zone modules with a 4 wire loop this consist of 2 wires for data communications and 2 wires for 24v DC supply.
Indication common
- Alarm Dual Red LEDs.
- Common Fault Amber LED.
- Supply Fault Amber LED.
- Zone circuit Fault Amber LED.
- Hooter Fault Amber LED.
- Test or Isolate Amber LED
Keys and Switches This panel has a Key switch which in the off position will disable the use of the operation keys. This eliminates the need for a glass door.
Three keys Silence Alarms, Reset and Sound alarms are provided to enable the operator to control the panel. since the zone modules are provided on the loop facility to test and isolate is provided at the module. the panel will however indicate the status of the module in test or isolate mode with a zone fault LED and the common Isolate / test indication.
